Consultation on the Proposal from Blackpool Council

This is a proposal that is accompanied by a request that the Secretary of State considers a boundary change(s) or that affects wider public services. Please answer the questions on the proposal including the modifications. We will also ask you an additional question on whether you think there is a strong justification for these splits.

Consultation for 4 unitary councils:

  • Eastern: Blackburn with Darwen, Burnley, Hyndburn, Pendle, Rossendale and 17 District Wards from Ribble Valley   

  • Northern: Lancaster, 10 District Wards from Ribble Valley and 8 District Wards from Wyre  

  • Southern: Chorley, South Ribble and West Lancashire  

  • Western: Blackpool, Fylde, Preston, 16 District Wards from Wyre
