Awaab's Law - Application to PRS Tenancies and to Licences

Overview

This public consultation seeks views on how to apply Awaab's Law to private rented tenancies. It also seeks views on if and how to apply Awaab's Law to accommodation occupied under licence in both the private rented and social rented sectors.

We recognise that many respondents to this consultation may have a particular interest in only certain parts of this consultation – for example, tenants and landlords in the private rented sector may only wish to provide views on the application of Awaab’s Law to private rented sector tenancies, or specialist supported housing providers may only wish to provide input on extending Awaab’s Law to accommodation occupied under licence in this sector.
